God had Moses lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt, so God could lead them into the Promise Land. Between Israel and Egypt there were 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. We are now in a wilderness of transition. And just like the Children in the wilderness we cry out to go back to Egypt, or go back to the way it was. But we must remember that if God takes us back to our normal, then we will miss out on His Promise Land of blessing. Not sure what tomorrow holds for God's People, but I know it's going to be good. Better things are on the horizon.
Each of the four Gospels has a different way of introducing us to Jesus. John tells us that Jesus is the Word, and was there in the beginning of Creation. Luke tells us about a virgin woman giving birth to the Christ Child in a barn. Matthew shares how Wisemen brought expensive gifts from afar. And Mark introduces Christ in his story at His Baptism. Four different men, giving four different accounts of Christ entering their story. How did Jesus show up in your story? What was the moment? What were the circumstances? There is somebody in your circle that needs to hear your story. Not my story. Not a famous preacher's story. Not the story from a preacher in your community. No, they need to hear your story. I pray that God gives you the strength and wisdom to share your story with someone today. And if you don't have a story, if you have never been introduced to Jesus Christ, then reach out to us here. We would love to introduce you to Jesus.

Nancy Sawyer was a member of our church for years. Her husband served as Elder to our congregation before his passing. Nancy now lives with her daughter in Illinois. Nancy had a battle with cancer, and won. She is not doing well and enjoying her time with her daughter and family. Nancy had a request of the preacher every Mother's Day. Play that "When We All Get To Heaven" Classical Style. So for Nancy and all Mothers everywhere, Happy Mother's Day! Have a Great Day! And Be Blessed!
